You can find the new update in “Domain settings.”

Previously, Short.io provided a simple way to generate universal links for you.

Enter any Apple or Android app name, and you can connect your link to the corresponding application.

Just add the package name — that’s it.

But many of our users wanted extra control and customization when creating universal links.

We listened, and now, we’ve expanded your options.

This new update allows you to not just connect, but edit your association files, too — right in Short.io.

Just copy the association file’s JSON code, paste it in, and you can make any further changes you need.

Connect one domain to multiple applications, to a very complex website, or simply exclude a specific path — all possible from here.

A convenient way to edit your association file’s JSON code right in Short.io.

Please keep in mind that Android universal links require both the package name and the package name fingerprint in order to be identifiable.

If your universal link strategy remains simple, we’ve made sure to make the standard process as user-friendly as possible.

And if you need more control over how they work and what they can do, now you also have that power.

Whatever your universal link needs are, we’ve got you covered.
